Hey Yuki! What’s that sound? :)

Overnight my uncle managed to catch one more mouse with his new sticky trap, but there was still another left. I heard them both squeaking when I was trying to sleep at 3am. They had eaten their way through the rice basket - see the holes on the right?! Sometime in the afternoon I saw the remaining mouse scurry across the kitchen bench and then it tried to hide between the cup and the bottles just as my uncle came into the room. Together we used the bottles to trap the mouse and my uncle picked it up and put it outside. I wonder if there are any more mice left. They just keep on coming!

Anf’s angels? Haha, no it’s my cousins Ying on the left and Toony on the right. In the middle is my sister Somfong, who randomly appeared in my auntie’s video shop in Cabramatta. We hadn’t seen each other since I returned to Sydney so I was happy to see her. My sister mentioned that she is thinking of moving to Thailand with her husband and son. So want to go visit my sis in Thailand dear? :)

The last days of Autumn. Such vivid colours always make me smile and want to get outside before Winter hits and the colour fades away along with what warmth there is left.

What’s that little thing coming out from under the microwave late at night? Can you see it? :) Actually there’s two of them in the kitchen at the moment but only one came out for the photo.

Went do dinner with Mike & Zoneia (their baby is due in two weeks!), Toro & Nicky (due in August), Terence & Huey (2nd child is due in August, their adorable daughter Maddie came to dinner too), and Phat & Leigh (don’t want babies anytime soon). We had Viet pho in Parramatta. Lots of baby-related talk as expected and at one point we were discussing how the kids should play sport together sort of like how we all played Counter-Strike (online game) together. There was also some conversation about bizarre cooking ideas like Phat’s braised pork and cabbage (that Leigh felt sick after eating it), Mike’s butter and soy sauce on rice, and Tez’s soy sauce on watermelon desert!

Moz and I attended Day 1 of the “Internet Rockstar” seminar in the city. There were some really great speakers there teaching tips about how to make money on the internet. In the photo are Kane Minkus (Industry Rockstar, personal branding expert), Levi Sanford (Generated over 1 million ‘Likes’ on Facebook in less than 6 weeks - this guy is AWESOME), and Scott Rewick (ad buying expert). We started at 9:30am and Moz left after lunch but I stayed until the end (7pm). I was SUPER tired by the time I got home but it was TOTALLY worth it. I can’t wait to teach you some of the techniques that I learnt so that we can start making money online :)

Basement Books, that discount book store underneath Central Station where we visited the last time you were here, is right now my favourite book store in Sydney. I had a few minutes to pop in there today on my way to meet with a friend who is going to help me with the 33 Wishes project. Anyways, I saw this book in the shop. It’s filled with photos of people “snogging”, which is Australian slang for “kissing”. I couldn’t help but think of you of course :)
